Corners

Anyone who wants a corner can have one. If your name can be mentioned on the website, there can be a link to your corner from that.

The overall goal is for you to "come to life" as a person. We cannot give a complete picture of you, but we can try to present a few pieces. Everything is easy to change, so you don't have to find that perfect picture, or perfect description, or perfect prose.

Bio

A corner has three parts. The first is biographical information about you and your relationship to the church and school. You can send me a short bio, or you can send me a mid-size bio and I will choose what to include on the website.

Bible Verse

The second part -- currently -- is a favorite Bible verse and why you like it. Explaining why you like it is supposed to tell people information about YOU. So talk about why YOU like it, YOUR reaction, how it makes YOU feel, etc. Is it inspiring? Useful?

If possible, your writing should sound like you are talking. I will try to edit all writing to fit webpage format, but if you can write with your "voice", I will try to preserve that.

Picture

The third part is a picture of you. I would prefer a picture of you doing something over a picture of you staring at a camera and posing. But quality of the picture is important. A picture of you with your family, or some grandchildren, is probably better than a picture of just you. But ultimately, any picture will do.

I can and will crop pictures and resize them to fit on the webpage. So don't worry about the size of the picture. Do worry about if you seem to have a friendly face (and perhaps you should let your spouse decide that.)
